While on holiday in Egypt, Maddie’s grandfather is wrongly imprisoned after being found with a 3,000-year-old relic of Queen Nefertari.
To save him, Maddie and her newfound friends must outsmart the sinister smuggler Red Scarf.

David, originally born in New Zealand, has lived in various parts of Australia and currently lives in the beautiful Huon Valley in Tasmania, with his wife, two labradoodles, and a few chooks. He is a man of many talents; juggler, photographer, and bee keeper, to name a few, and loves hiking the wilds of Tasmania.
A self-confessed ‘Foot Magician’ (aka Podiatrist), by day. David loves the life balance of work and home life. It gives him time for personal and creative pursuits, including writing.
David’s first three books were published in 2022 as a series called The Misadventures of Harry and Larry’. In 2024, he published ‘The Hunt for the Tasmanian Tiger’. That was followed by his latest book ‘Maddie and the Stolen Treasures’ in 2026, after previous travels to Egypt and a love for ancient history.
Currently, David is working on the 2nd book in the Maddie series, ‘Maddie and the Mayan Skull’.
Harry and Larry, two native mice from the Bunya Mountains, want to return home to their family, after accidentally becoming trapped in Charlie and Izzy Humbledink’s Toyota 4WD. But a Prophecy is revealed to them by Wilmar, Queen Mother of the Humpback Whales.
Harry and Larry are two native mice, aka Mouseketeers, travelling through Australia with their friends Charlie and Izzy Humbledink. Harry and Larry soon learn that the Outback is unforgiving, with giant Wedge-tailed Eagles, Reptiles and Crocs on the constant lookout for a feed.

The Tasmanian Tiger is thought to be extinct, but the Great Mother disagrees. She asks two native bush mice, Harry and Larry, to find the remaining Tasmanian Tigers and warn them of approaching danger. The mice brothers overhear a secret plan to cut down rainforest in the heart of the Tarkine, where the Tasmanian Tigers are thought to be hiding.

My dream is that my story brings a greater awareness in society, and helps children and adults alike, remember they are a part of nature, and that our ancient rainforests are very important and need to be preserved.
